We believe that every successful project begins with teamwork, so we work in conjunction with the finest Structural Engineers on every project. We have extensive experience in the use of energy-efficient and alternative construction materials and methods. When appropriate, we use the Passive House Planning Package (PHPP) to accurately model a home's energy use during the initial design process, prior to construction. We have extensive experience in the use of Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs), Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), Timber-frame and Log “Post and Beam” construction and Passive House design techniques. We are sensitive to the harsh realities of high-altitude mountain design, but knowledgeable in the softer design techniques, such as Feng Shui (“Wind and Water”, the traditional Chinese art of placement).

In the office environment, we utilize the latest cutting-edge design methodologies, such as 3D modeling, rendering and virtual-reality graphics as aids towards enhancing client interaction, as well as producing a precision set of working drawings.
