Engel Lodge » This 5,600 square foot authentic lodge style residence nestled on Lake Tahoe's north shore was the first true "log post and beam" home in the region. Honored with state and national level awards for design excellence, this design was published in The Log Home Book: Design Past and Present (1993, Thiede and Teipner-Thiede, Gibbs-Smith Publisher).
Granite Lodge » A hybrid "log post and beam" lodge-style residence, this 5,800 square foot re-design is located on Lake Tahoe's lovely Agate Bay. The Owner's desire for a blend of "romance" and authentic hand-hewn warmth is realized in this carefully crafted home.
Beeker's Cabin » One of the smallest lakefront homes on Lake Tahoe's west shore, this 3,160 square foot log-frame cabin acts as a weekend getaway for a busy Granite Bay family. Situated just steps away from the lake's high-water line, the home is nestled among existing pine and alders groves, and is nearly invisible from the lake.
Thompson Residence » A craftsman-inspired palette of materials graces this 4,400 square foot lakefront home. Situated along the steep shoreline south of Rubicon Bay, this whimsical home embraces the expansive views of Cave Rock and Lake Tahoe's east shore.
Grey Wolf Lodge » Situated on a beautiful lot overlooking the Martis Valley, this 4,400 square foot home is situated in Northstar's "Big Springs" development. A unique hybrid of technologies, the structure combines the benefits of Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) construction, with the traditional romantic appeal of a log home, creating an award-winning log cabin that is both charming and efficient.
Fire Circle Lodge » Sporting some of the world's best fly-fishing, the north shore of Montana's Little Bitterroot Lake is the setting for this 4,000 square foot mountain lodge style residence. The hand-hewn timber trusses in the Great Room overlook the original fire circle, situated steps away on the lake's edge.
Sloop Residence » A 2.3 acre estate parcel on Lake Tahoe's north shore is the palette for a unique 3,700 square foot craftsman-inspired residence. A 1,200 square foot guesthouse shares the site, creating an understated Tahoe compound, with an abundance of multi-faceted lakeviews.
Maine Lodge » A long, extremely narrow lakefront lot in Kings Beach provided the challenge for this 4,200 s.f. home design. This placement takes advantage of both the views toward the lake as well as toward the historic Kings Beach shoreline to the west.
Lanza Residence » An unusually shaped lot near Tahoe City on Lake Tahoe's north-west shore is the location of this 5,300 square foot family home. The great room and kitchen, as well as 5 of the 6 bedrooms offer unimpeded views of the lake, and offer opportunities to either share busy family life, or to find a quiet refuge.
